"BATONER (バトナー)"
In 2013, the knitwear brand BATONER was born in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture.
In Yamagata Prefecture, known as a knit production area, it was launched as the brand of the factory Okuyama Meriyasu, which has handled products for various maison brands and apparel manufacturers.
The knitwear sent out to the world is finished by managing all processes from raw materials to products with high quality.
With technology and tradition that Japan proudly presents to the world, and a desire to pursue even higher quality, we continue to create things that will be passed on to the next generation.
Okuyama Meriyasu, founded in 1951, is located in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture.

BATONER, which I had always wanted to handle someday.
I have handled knit-only brands before, but I was particularly interested in made in Japan knits.
By carrying out all processes in-house, costs can be reduced, and the product prices themselves can be offered affordably, which is indeed one of the attractions.
I visited the 2024SS exhibition and saw the actual products,
Despite this high quality, the price!? I was constantly surprised at the exhibition.
Also, in terms of materials, sewing, and production background, I was able to fully feel the "craftsmanship" that BATONER upholds.
