＜SHORT RAMBLE＞ A striped shirt with a band collar, reimagined with Caledoor’s signature modern twist based on a 1960s British Army shirt.
While retaining the slightly longer length that evokes the mood of that era, the loose fit and roomy sleeves ensure ease of movement when out and about.
Furthermore, while retaining the rugged essence of the British Army, the design has been refined into a delicate silhouette that blends seamlessly into the cityscape.
The fabric is woven on a dobby loom, and its intricate construction features a mesh-like texture created by deliberately weaving in several types of yarn.
The multi-shadow stripes, created through a complex weave, lend a sense of depth and sophistication despite the solid color.
Finally, a wash treatment is applied to add natural wrinkles and a soft texture.
Another appealing feature is the crisp, dry texture unique to cotton-linen blends.
Following traditional shirt-making techniques, we use 21-stitch flat interlining and 4mm topstitching.
Gussets are added under the arms to enhance durability and serve as an eye-catching detail when the shirt is worn untucked.
In addition, to improve durability, we have reinforced the edges of the chest pocket—an area prone to tearing over time—by applying cotton tape to the inside.
We use flannel interlining for the collar and cuffs to ensure that the fabric’s natural softness is preserved.
Unlike a paper-like finish achieved by gluing the lining to the fabric, this design features a beautiful, three-dimensional collar.
The buttons are made of high-quality Takase metal, which combines an elegant luster with a sense of luxury that cannot be achieved with plastic or resin.
It also offers the durability and wear resistance needed for everyday use.
The product has undergone a single wash treatment and is line-dried to preserve its natural wrinkles.

If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.
