The design is inspired by the 40-inch denim pants from the 1990s—often referred to as the "regular" era—but we’ve updated them with a modern balance. By adjusting the pattern throughout and using selvedge denim, we’ve preserved the original proportions while creating a pair of jeans that can be styled with everything from dress shoes to sneakers.
We’ve added accents throughout by applying hand-painted details crafted by skilled artisans.

INDIGO: Made with 7-count warp and 6-count weft, 13.5-ounce selvedge denim.
The warp threads are made from pure indigo and are rope-dyed in the Bingo region.
Using shuttle looms in the Ibara district of Okayama—a renowned denim-producing region—we weave selvedge denim with a textured surface and airy feel at a production rate of approximately 0.8 tsubo per day.
Inspired by vintage denim from a certain denim brand, this fabric has been finished to look great when distressed.

BLACK: Made with 7-count warp and 6-count weft, 13.5-ounce selvedge denim.
The warp threads are rope-dyed in the Bingo region using sulfur black dye, while the weft threads are made from black-on-black denim that has undergone "cheese dyeing"—a process where the yarn is dyed all the way to its core in a high-pressure autoclave.
