The name comes from the Go term "Hachimoku" (a side view of the opponent).

Because her head is small and her face is narrow, wearing a deep hat makes her face look long, so the panels are set shallow and the brim is designed to give a sharp impression.
A 6-panel cap with a shallow crown panel designed to suit the face type and a narrow, sharp brim. The brim has 8 3mm stitches.
The typewriter is made from a resin-coated material that has been tumbled, giving it a smooth appearance and feel.
The inner sweatband is made of cotton ribs, which provides a soft fit. The inside of the sweatband is linen-filled, which provides water absorption and antibacterial properties.
