A brand launching next spring from a long-established hat company dedicated to hats for 120 years since 1895.
"The function of fitting well."
American architect Louis Sullivan said,

What we aim for is "the function of fitting well."
Not design by decoration, but by deriving shape from personality,
we envision bringing new awareness and discoveries.
The brand name "O8 O/EIGHTH" is derived from the Go term "Bōme Hachime," which means a third party can judge the pros and cons of a matter better than the parties involved,
and we build products that fit various users with know-how cultivated over more than a hundred years of history.

O/EIGHTH is a hat laboratory that researches and considers what hats fit well based on over 100 years of hat-making know-how.
By classifying face shapes and deriving the shape and form of parts from those features,
we build products that fit various personalities.

□ PRODUCT DETAIL
A face type with a short height from the eye line to the top of the head.
Because the head height is short, hats often do not fit in depth, so the panel height and volume are adjusted, and the brim is designed short and stiff.
A 6-panel cap with crown height and volume adjusted to fit the face type and a brim designed short and stiff. The crown has 2mm edge stitching and the brim has 3mm 8-row stitching.
The material is typewriter fabric treated with resin and tumble processed. It features a smooth appearance and texture.
The inside sweatband part is made of cotton rib, providing a soft fit. Inside the sweatband is hemp cotton, which also offers hemp's water absorption and antibacterial effects.
