It is a brand attractive for its production by skilled craftsmen who operate knitting machines manually, repeatedly making subtle adjustments that machines alone cannot achieve.
The material uses rare British wool, which accounts for only 3% of the world's wool production and is officially managed by the British government.
Scottish wool is mixed with merino wool to create a knit that is resistant to losing shape, soft yet resilient.
Furthermore, it is a high-performance knit that strongly repels rain and excels in moisture absorption and release, making it ideal for outdoor use.
The design is a shape that has never existed before in Macalastair.
The yarn is made from a blended yarn requested in caledoor's original color.
