This half-zip knit is made to order from Macalastair, a British knitwear brand loved around the world, using rare British wool .
What makes this brand so appealing is that skilled craftsmen produce their products by hand, operating knitting machines while making repeated delicate adjustments that machines cannot make.
The material used is rare British wool, which accounts for only 3% of the world's wool production and is officially controlled by the British government.
A mix of Scottish wool and Merino wool creates a knit that is soft, resilient and resistant to deformation.
