Following traditional Japanese techniques, the embroidery realistically depicts beautiful old Japanese landscapes, giving this souvenir jacket a unique elegant presence.
It stands apart from the quality of Sukajan embroidery seen in archive pieces, with elegant expressions designed to the limit including thread thickness, number of colors, gradation, and shading.
Also, it is sulfur-dyed in original colors, becoming a material that matures and allows you to enjoy the appearance of aging.
You can enjoy different expressions on the velvet side and the rayon quilting side, feeling the duality of wabi-sabi and elegance.
Regarding the velvet fabric, the weft yarns create piles by weaving and cutting, resulting in a surface covered with short fibers standing all over.
Because it is twill woven, the dense weaving results in a soft touch, rich gloss, beautiful color tone, and a high-quality fabric.
The rayon quilting side uses sustainable Tencel™ Modal fibers, a medium-weight material with a supple texture.
It features a powdery touch with a gentle atmosphere and a matte surface impression, while possessing a natural subtle gloss and a moist texture.
