We use denim fabric from a manufacturer that has been in operation since the early 1900s and prioritizes creating products with added value—even if it means sacrificing production efficiency over mass production.
By using thick warp threads and adjusting the yarn’s shape and using a loose twist, we’ve achieved a light and soft texture.
Another distinctive feature is the clear blue color produced by pure indigo.
We used the same denim and warp yarn as our standard fabric, but by changing the count of the weft yarn, we achieved a moderate weight and drape equivalent to 13 oz.
Based on 1930s painter's denim, we modified the design to create a roomier silhouette by omitting the back yoke.
By using a color that matches the fabric for the stitching, the design avoids looking too casual and creates an elegant look with subtle shading.
We've applied a fading treatment to give it a well-worn look.
