The "New Open Collar S Shirt" is based on the previous model but features a revised body width for a closer fit to a regular cut.
The fabric is made from hemp, a material that is gaining attention for its eco-friendly properties.
It is a sustainable material that allows for no-till farming and crop rotation, requires no pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and minimizes water usage.
Hemp from Heilongjiang Province, China, is spun using the techniques of Hardman, a renowned Irish linen manufacturer.
By spinning carefully selected fibers with a high moisture content, we produce a high-quality yarn that is soft and free of stiffness.
The woven fabric is characterized by its natural luster and crisp, refreshing texture.
"Hemp Shirting" offers both excellent breathability and a smooth feel against the skin.
In addition to becoming softer with wear, it also offers natural functional benefits such as antimicrobial properties, UV protection, and a cooling sensation upon contact.
The shirt features high-density stitching with 24 stitches per 3 cm, a stitch count rarely seen in casual shirts, which helps define its silhouette.
The collar is open-collar style, with a patch pocket on the left chest.
The buttons are thick shell buttons engraved with the name "MARKAWARE JAPAN."
There is a slit along the side seam at the hem.
Since the cuffs are buttonless, we recommend rolling up the sleeves when wearing this shirt.
