I’ve had a special connection with this brand’s designer, and I’ve been interested in the brand ever since its debut season.
And no wonder.
That's because it's a new brand launched by a designer whose brand was previously carried by Diffusion.
I love that brand's denim, and I own a total of eight pairs in different colors and styles.
I'm the type of person who ends up buying things I like in different colors.
We’ve had a close relationship with Diffusion, even creating custom items for them.
That brand is no longer around, but I still use it to this day.
That's how much I like the denim made by that brand and designer.
But let's put that aside for now.
I’ve been attending your exhibitions since the 1st Collection, but,
While I thought about various things—such as how I wanted to present it to customers and whether it would be a good fit with our existing brands—there was still a part of me that wasn’t fully convinced, thinking, “I want to carry this brand in our store!” So, I never actually ended up carrying it.
Before we knew it, four seasons had passed since the brand’s launch.
As the brand has been gradually gaining recognition and building momentum, I took the opportunity to visit their fifth-season exhibition.
That’s when something I happened to catch a glimpse of really struck a chord with me, and I decided to carry it.
Here it is.
It has already arrived as part of the first delivery for the 26SS collection.

「CO/HE PURE STRAIGHT DENIM」
[Product Description]
We use denim fabric produced by a manufacturer that has been in operation since the early 1900s and prioritizes creating products with added value—even if it means slightly reducing production efficiency—over mass production.
We use an undyed natural color—made with organic cotton warp threads and undyed hemp weft threads—as well as a black color, where both the warp and weft are dyed.
The pattern is designed so that the width from the knee to the hem is kept nearly uniform, and by making the side seams straight, it creates a slightly flared look reminiscent of vintage pants.
We’ve treated this textured, dry-finished cotton-hemp denim to give it a relaxed drape, resulting in a lightweight, soft feel.

At my previous brand, we made denim using a cotton-Tencel blend, and
I really liked the feel and texture of the fabric.
I could sense that vibe from these jeans, and I found myself thinking, “I really do love the jeans this designer creates.” I fell in love with them, which is why we decided to carry them.
Of course, it’s not just that—there are so many other aspects that really stand out, such as the color schemes, material choices, and silhouettes of the other items, that I wanted to share them with all of you.
Stay tuned for future arrivals.
Well then, we look forward to your continued support of “BISOWN.”
